E-mail from a Soldier . . . |

...I received the care package...It's very nice to know that
there are people back home that support us. Sometimes it's easy
to forget that, especially in this place. |
|
The RPCM® ChillyDog Cool Vest , Doggles and MuttLuks will
definitely be put to good use. We have already had several days
here with temperatures in excess of 100 degrees. We are trying
to get more sets of these things, but you know how the military
supply can be. We have close to a dozen dogs here and supply
tries to do the best that they can, unfortunately it's an uphill
battle...I have included a photo of myself and my MWD Heri. He's
the furry one...

He is your
friend,
your partner,
your defender,
your dog.
You are his life,
his love,
his leader.
He will be yours,
faithful and true,
to the last beat
of his heart.

Ms. Nunley, |
I was given your e-mail address in hopes that you might be able
to support our MWD teams down range . . . Being gone away from
home for a year gets old sometimes . . . getting a package in
the mail from someone other than a family member with some broken
cookies in it really means a lot. It kind of makes your day so
to speak. I have several teams gone right now. There are three
dog teams deployed to Camp Delta, Iraq, which doesn't get much
support. I can only say so much to keep in compliance with OPSEC,
but this place is a dump, which the U.S. Army is trying to bring
up to standard. (It's a Georgian Army Camp) . . . Any support
you can provide will be greatly appreciated
. . . I'm back here, but my teams are in harms way right now
. . . Thanks so much for your dedication and support. |

Mrs. Nunley, |
|
First and foremost,
thank you so very much for your extraordinary support of both
Boe and Budge. I am the Officer in Charge of the Combat Stress
Control program on the same FOB as your son Parker. The first
time I met your son was in the presence of Budge. I have to tell
you that it was fun watching the "most senior officer in
the room" on his hands and knees with the dog growling and
smiling . . .
Labradors Boe
and Budge helping
our Soldiers relieve some stress.

...I just received the RPCM® ChillyDog Cool Vest and toy
for my MWD partner Denis. I just wanted to say thank you for
all you do... |
|
I am grateful for all the support of my partner and I. Sometimes
these guys go without notice. I know they don't mind, but you
and I know that is wrong to forget these hard working four legged
heroes. |
|
All the guys at this FOB just love him. He brings a piece of
home with him. He gives people a chance to forget for a while. |
|
I just really wanted to say thank you to all who donate. It is
nice to know that someone out there cares for these guys and
gals as much as we their handler's do. |
Sincerely,
SGT Him Hall / MWD Denis |
