Adopt a Kennel...

While SupportMilitaryWorkingDogs.org provides for the key equipment these K-9 soldiers need, we cannot provide for all their needs and still reach our main goal of outfitting ALL the Kennels in Iraq with the equipment they need.

Adopting a Kennel means that you and/or group help with the ongoing moral support that our K-9 and human soldiers overseas need, by providing everyday type of comforts, like doggie and human treats, basic supplies not available there, toothpaste etc.

You would be in direct contact with ones not in classified areas for their "wish list" of homey items. By providing these small items, especially for the soldiers away from home, who don't have a support network back here, gives these soldiers the support they need to keep going.

We will be adding a basic "wish list" and "do not" send items list to give you an idea of what they would appreciate. The "do not" send list is important since some items like tennis balls and soft plastic toys are not good for these dogs, their jaws are so strong, many of them chew up these types of toys to bits in minutes, and consequently, can eat them too, and end up sick.

E-mail us for more information on adopting a Kennel or even co-adopting, this helps everyone. Adopting a kennel should never become a financial burden to anyone, this program is to help share joy all around.

Kennels Waiting to be Adopted

We are working on getting more kennels to contact us,
but as they have been changing over, it's hard to get in touch with the new Kennel Masters.

If you know of anybody going overseas, let them know we are looking for contacts
with any of the kennels there.
